Biography
Betty graduated with a Masters in Public Health with a focus on behavioral and social sciences. While studying history at Binghamton University, she developed and facilitated sexual assault prevention curricula with a team of students and social workers. She then expanded on this work as a victim advocate and education and outreach specialist in the Binghamton community. Betty hopes to contribute to research that can inform violence prevention and social-emotional education for youth and young adults. She is excited to help conduct secondary data analysis for the IPACT intervention program and is looking forward to learning and working with the EDHI team.
