Biography
Brendan Jacka, PhD, is an Investigator in the Department of Epidemiology and a member of the People, Place and Health Collective at the Brown University School of Public Health. The research topics of Dr. Jacka broadly encompasses the individual and public health impact of substance use, including overdose prevention and secondary effects, harm reduction and healthcare access, and substance use-related infections. Dr. Jacka uses digital platforms as tools to expand data acquisition and engagement with target populations for research and real-world applications.
