Biography
Carly M. Goldstein, PhD, FAACVPR, is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a Research Scientist at the Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center of The Miriam Hospital. Her research optimizes and utilizes digital health for prevention, secondary prevention, and interventions for cardiovascular disease and other complex medical conditions. Her expertise includes co-designing digital health interventions for medical populations and healthcare providers, optimization designs (e.g., the Multiphase Optimization Strategy, Sequential Multiple Assignment Randomized Trials), improving health equity through digital health, self-management, adherence, implementation science, integrated care models, and science communication. She is a Fellow of the American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
