Leo Kobayashi MD is Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of Research and Innovation for the Lifespan Medical Simulation Center. He has extensive experience in digital innovation in virtual reality, virtual vital signs management, and remote sentinel event monitoring. He has recently developed innovative tools to measure non-contact vital signs using video plethosmography, both in the clinical sphere and to detect human or mammalian presence in locked vehicles in the summer. He has collaborated with Phillips and GE Medical.
