Biography
Nicholas Jones is a 5th year doctoral candidate in the Health Services Research program in the Brown University School of Public Health. He completed his coursework within the Health Economics track. His research interests include using econometric techniques to estimate the effects of advancements in digital health technologies and health information technology on health outcomes, health care costs, and racial/ethnic health disparities. His dissertation focuses specifically on how telemedicine and patient portal usage increases influence these outcomes, particularly amongst those with multiple chronic conditions.
