Biography
Dr. Rajiv Kumar is the co-founder of Brown Angel Group, a global investing syndicate of 900 members who pool their capital to invest in early-stage ventures founded by Brown University alumni. He is an active angel investor and startup advisor. Previously, he was President & Chief Medical Officer at Virgin Pulse, a digital health software company. Prior to that, he was the founder & CEO of ShapeUp, an employee wellbeing software company that was acquired by Virgin Pulse. He is currently a member of the board of directors at Providence Mutual and Crossroads Rhode Island. He earned both his BA in Business Economics and MD from Brown University.
