Tom Martin began medical school after graduating from the Brown University Program in Liberal Medical Education with a passion for public health and emergency services. He is an advanced life support provider in the State of Rhode Island with five years of 911 experience in EMS and remains an active member of the Warren Fire Department. Academically, he is interested in the use of public health informatics to improve patient outcomes in the prehospital and ED environments.
